Local Businessman buys ATMOS 360 Assets
(Cincinnati, OH) - Cincinnati businessman Ben Moore has purchased many of the assets of ATMOS 360 Air System Solutions, forming the company ATMOS 360 Manufacturing (www.atmos360.com).
This is third in his portfolio of companies. Moore also owns Agent Technologies (www.agenttech.com), a technology company, and Niche Consumer Products (www.nicheconsumerproducts.com), a consumer products company.
Moore purchased the industrial air filtration equipment company assets at public auctions in early March. He will run ATMOS 360 Manufacturing, along with a General Manager.
Icy Williams, the previous owner and a former Procter & Gamble executive, welcomed the purchase. She and Moore have known each other for more than a decade.
"Ben and I have been talking since 2017 about him taking an ownership stake in ATMOS 360. I look forward to continuing to work with Ben for a smooth transition with our customers," she said.
ATMOS 360 made over $5 million in revenue in 2017 and is a world leader in overhead oscillating fans for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) combustible dust control. The new iteration of the company will focus on overhead oscillating fans and filter media.
"I'm a fan of American manufacturing and have been looking for an opportunity to get back into manufacturing since I ran a manufacturing operation in 2007. ATMOS 360 had a configurable product, the overhead oscillating fan, that I felt I could grow its market share," Moore explained. "Icy Williams has been a trailblazer in business and the community during her time at Procter & Gamble and afterwards. I just want to build on her legacy."
The company will remain a minority-owned business. "I want to give special thanks to the Minority Business Accelerator of the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, PNC Bank, and Ed Rigaud for their advice through this process," Moore said.
